20E POWERTRAIN

Overengineering Exemplified.

HR20-E’s powertrain was a complete redesign from HR19-E’s outboard motor architecture based on a hard lesson learned to master the fundamentals of powertrain before attempting to innovate. With this in mind, 20-E’s powertrain was designed based around utilizing a single Emrax 228 electric motor to drive the vehicle. While we scaled back the degree to which we innovated, the powertrain still contains a custom designed gear reduction system based on the electric vehicle automotive standard of a single speed, two stage gear train.
