23E ACCUMULATOR
High-Voltage Horsepower
HR23-E’s subpacks are the same battery from HR20-E but with a completely new accumulator design. To accommodate the new motor choice, a system voltage step up to 400 V was necessary, reducing the bus current and some of the prior heat transfer necessities. A more conservative energy usage prediction was factored into the architecture, increasing the pack capacity from 6 kWh to 7 kWh.
